The Black Balloon düne kadar adını hiç duymadığım bir filmdi. iTunes'ta filmlere bakınırken tesadüfen karşılaştım ve izlemeye karar verdim. Adı fazla duyulmamış filmleri izlemek her zaman daha keyiflidir benim için. Sanki ilk siz keşfediyormuşsunuz gibi bir haz verir. The Black Balloon'u bu kategoriye sokmak biraz haksızlık olabilir aslında. Çünkü, toplam 23 adaylık ve 16 ödül kazanmış Avustralya yapımı bir film. Filmde öne çıkan üç performans var. İlki Charlie adında bir otistiği canlandıran ve insana "o nasıl bir oyunculuktur öyle" dedirten Luke Ford'a ait. Film bittikten sonra hemen imdb'nin sitesini açtım gerçekten otistik mi değil mi diye bakmak için. Biliyorum aptalca ama insan inanamıyor bir türlü. O kadar iyi. Diğer bir performans Charlie'nin kardeşi Thomas'ı canlandıran Rhys Wakefield'e ait. Kendisi 22 yaşında bir "Aussie" aktör. Filmde üzüldüğü anlarda hep sarılmak istedim kendisine. Seyircinin sempatisini iyi kazananlardan. Üçüncü performans ise Charlie ve Thomas'ın annesini canlandıran ve koca filmde tek tanıdığım aktör olan Toni Collette'e ait. Bu kadın anne rollerinde gerçekten çok başarılı hangi durumda olursa olsun. İzlerken yer yer de Little Miss Sunshine'ı hatırlattırıyor. Sonuç olarak şunu diyebilirim ki filmdeki olaylar çok gerçekçi bir gözle anlatılıyor, hiç abartı yok. Hem hüzünlü hem keyifli süper bir film, kaçırmayın:)

I'd never heard of The Black Balloon until the other day. As I was looking for movies on iTunes, I came across with this movie by chance and decided watching it. To watch the movies which are not popular is always more enjoyable for me. It gives me a pleasure like I'm the first one who discovered them. It may be unfair to put The Black Baloon into this category since it earned 23 nominations and 16 wins but I think it's not known that much. There are 3 outstanding performances in the movie. The first one belongs to Luke Ford who plays an autistic character named Charlie. His performance makes the audience say "what a performance!". After watching the movie I checked imdb's site to see if he is really autistic. I know that it sounds stupid but you just cannot believe it. That good. The other great perfomance belongs to Rhys Wakefield who plays Charlie's brother, Thomas. He is a 22 year old Aussie actor. In the scenes where he was upset, I just wanted to hug him:) He is one of the best ones who gains the audience's sympathy. The third outstanding performance belongs to Toni Collette who plays the role of Charlie and Thomas's mother in the movie and also the only one that I've known among the other actors in the whole movie. This woman is just so good in every role she plays. After all, I can say that The Black Balloon is presented to us by a very realistic point of view, there is no exeggeration. Both sad, both enjoyable it's a great movie. Don't miss it:)
